England Rugby Travel Has Unmatched Experience When It Comes to Creating Memories For Rugby Fans at The World’s Greatest Global Tournament

Since Rugby World Cup 2007, England Rugby Travel has taken almost 100,000 fans across the world to four major tournaments – and Rugby World Cup 2023 France promises to be the biggest yet.

From Twickenham to Taupu, Paris to Yokohama, countless number of England fans have enjoyed the rugby adventure of their dreams. In 2007, England reached their second successive Rugby World Cup final and along the way thousands of fans saw England take down Australia and then hosts France before losing in the final against South Africa.

In 2011, more than 1,000 fans made their way to New Zealand to soak up the Land of the Long White Cloud and along the way experience a unique Haka with New Zealand legend Buck Shelford, Hobbiton, the incredible Shot Over jet and much more. And despite a below par showing on the field, where England failed to reach the knock out stages, fans had the time of their lives off it.

Four years later, rugby came home. Rugby World Cup 2015 was the biggest sporting event in England since Euro 96 and although fans were wowed by a galaxy of world stars that included Will Greenwood, Neil Back, Mike Teague, Peter Winterbottom, Scott Quinnell, Zinzan Brooke, Phil Waugh and many more and some incredible special events, England again failed to impress and failed to qualify for the last eight.

By the time the global gathering landed in Japan in 2019, England were back to their formidable best. Asia’s first Rugby World Cup was a triumph on and off the field. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and captivated by the competition and fans had the holiday of a lifetime.

From Osaka to Tokyo, Sapporo to Oita and everywhere in between, Japan was crammed with England fans as Eddie Jones’ team reached the final – to be once again denied by South Africa.

But the memories off the field were just as good. With events that included former Ireland legend Paul O’Connell, former Springbok captain John Smit and brilliant referees Wayne Barnes and Nigel Owens, England Rugby Travel clients got an insight and stories not available anywhere else.

Long may the journey continue – on and off the field.
