It is one of the great wonders of the modern age – a Japanese pride and joy – and you will sample it on your journey with us.

You will be able to see Japan as you transfer from destination to destination via Bullet Train. It is a great way to travel, will offer a unique and added benefit to your tour and will ensure swift and easy transportation from each city. It’s an experience in its own right and something to cherish.

Fabulous Tokyo

Tokyo is one of the greatest cities in the world and you will have plenty of time to explore its exotic eateries, humming nightlife, dazzling way of life, history and culture.

The beauty of this package is that it will feel like a real holiday and provide the chance to explore a memorable and joyous city at the speed you want.

Day trip to Yokohama and tea ceremony

Yokohama, a Japanese city south of Tokyo, was one of the first ports opened to foreign trade, in 1859. It contains a large Chinatown with hundreds of Chinese restaurants and shops. It’s also known for Sankei-en Garden, a botanical park containing preserved Japanese residences from different eras, and the seaside Minato Mirai district, site of the 296m Landmark Tower.

You will be invited to join a Japanese tea ceremony, also called the Way of Tea, this is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha, powdered green tea.

Your visit will also include Shin-Yokohama Rāmen Museum, a traditional street food court with restaurants each offering a ramen dish from a different region of Japan. Here you will have time to purchase lunch (at your own expense) in a mock-up of a 1950s Japanese street.

No trip to Yokohama is complete without visiting the Cup Noodle Factory and Museum. Here you will be able to create your own completely original cup noodle package, which is unavailable anywhere else in the world. For the cup that you design, select your favourite soup from among four varieties as well as four toppings from among 12 varieties.

Day trip to Hakone National Park

Hakone is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, less than one hundred kilometres from Tokyo.

Famous for hot springs, natural beauty and the view across Lake Ashinoko of nearby Mount Fuji, Hakone is one of the most popular destinations among Japanese and international tourists looking for a break from Tokyo.

At 2300 metres above sea level, the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station offers a commanding view of the Fuji Five Lakes area below, making it a popular spot, an observation point with unobstructed views of Fujiyoshida City and Lake Yamanaka can be found at Komitake Shrine behind the shops.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, we head to Lake Ashi, which lies in a crater formed by a massive volcanic eruption around 3,000 years ago. Take a short 15-minute cruise of this postcard-perfect body of water, admiring views of Mount Fuji, Mount Komagatake and other peaks in the distance.

Please note: The viewing of Mount Fuji is weather dependent, and views may be restricted in the event of inclement weather.
